Our Team of Tutors
Miss Tamsen Comber - Private Maths Tutor
I have always had a love of Maths and have been brought up in a mathematical environment as my mum (Sue Comber) has been tutoring for as long as I can remember.
In senior school I was a senior prefect, Literacy Leader, Peer Active Listener, a member of the Student Council as well as Chair Person on the Local Government Youth Council and I have loved the responsibility of helping others and aim to continue helping the community.
I am currently studying A levels in Maths, Further Maths, Economics and Business giving me a strong understanding of Maths as a solid background to Finance etc
Over the years I have seen the difference our tuition has made to our students and seen them thrive and come out of our lessons with huge smiles on their faces . I want to give our students the best tuition experience possible
I have previously tutored up toad including GCSE level with great feedback. This experience has given me the necessary skills to teach. I have also watched my mum tutoring over the years, giving me a strong understanding of tuition as a whole and has helped me to see how important it is to develop empathy and rapport to build up the student’s confidence.
My specialty is Primary School Maths, KS3, Foundation and Higher GCSE Maths.
Miss Rachel Leighton -
Ms Rubaba Noyireeta - Private Maths Tutor
Having excelled in my 4 A levels (including an A grade in Maths) I am taking a gap year before studying medicine at University next year. I plan to be a future doctor.
I was a prefect at my sixth form and continue to serve my community in various ways thereby developing my leadership and communication skills.
I have previously tutored at a company that specialised in 11+ tutoring and have also tutored in School for the new 9-1 GCSE Maths curriculum. My experience in teaching has given me the skills to ensure that my students grasp the concepts and thoroughly understand the Maths being taught.
In my experience I have seen the disadvantages of computer based group tuiton and firmly believe that one-to-one tutoring is the very best method to ensure that the needs of the individual student are met.
I enjoy the logic and structure of Maths and believe that it is an essential part of life and enjoy sharing my passion with my students. As a person who was once in their position I am relateable and can understand their needs and in doing so build their confidence and trust.
My specialty is KS1 - KS3, Foundation and Higher GCSE

Mr Ashish Holkar - Private Maths Tutor
Having excelled in my 4 A levels (including an A grade in Maths) I am now taking a gap year to explore the education profession before going to university next year as I am planning to teach Physics at a secondary school level after my degree.
Many people would describe me as an outgoing, lively addition to a group no matter the situation - whether during challenging team projects or in a productive classroom environments.
I am well known for my ability to persist and work under pressure and am able to communicate well with others in a group. As the former leader of both Essex Young People’s Orchestra and Southend Youth Orchestra, I am a confident individual and able to guide and help younger members of the orchestra in improving their skills.
I have been tutoring Maths for 2 years and I have learnt hows students learn better with different styles of teaching and explanation depending on the difficulty of the topic.
This will help me in the future
