Why does my child need Private Maths Tuition?

With the current economic climate and jobs being increasingly more difficult to come by, it is imperative to give our children the best start in life that we can. Classroom sizes are a minimum of 30 and even the best teachers just do not have the time or resources to give pupils the individual attention that the subject can often require.

Private Maths Tuition is not only for pupils who are struggling though, I have some very able pupils on my books who are just looking to guarantee that elusive "A" grade as well as those who just want to understand Maths.

Parents, Do you worry about helping your child with their Maths homework?
Does it always end in tears?

I can help! I also run small informal Maths courses "Mums, Coffee, Cakes and Maths" during the school day from my home in Benfleet, Essex for parents/carers who want to be able to help their children with their Maths homework but find the whole subject too
intimidating.
Maths is taught so differently to how we used to learn it, with number bonds, bridging through 10 partitioning, chunking etc. What is this all about?
In small groups of up to 6 people, we chat through how Maths is taught today and help you to help your child. You can even bring your child's homework with you. The price is £10 per person per session for groups of up to 7 people (£15 per session for groups of 4 or less). Please contact me for the next available session dates and times.
